WWE Stock Report: The Bella Twins are big business

New, comments
Bella Twins

Some places do power rankings. Here at Cageside, we do a stock report.

In this weekly series, we identify three Superstars (or teams of Superstars) who are on their way up, and three that are moving in the opposite direction. After a week which featured The Shield gaining some revenge on Strowman’s pack, Samoa Joe reading a children’s book, Bobby Lashley possibly getting a new manager, and Kevin Owens explaining why he’s back on Raw, a lot of fortunes were changed.

With that in mind, let’s see whose stock has decreased the most this week:

Stock Down #3: Randy Orton

Randy Orton’s sneak attack on Jeff Hardy backfired on SmackDown (Sept. 11) this week, and he suffered an unfortunate twist of fate as a result.

Stock Down #2: The Bar

Cesaro and Sheamus have a frustrating knack for losing in the final match of number one contender tournaments.

Stock Down #1: Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection

Sasha Banks and Bayley were nowhere to be found on Raw (Sept. 10) this week during a pay-per-view (PPV) go-home show. Sasha hasn’t wrestled on PPV since Money in the Bank in June, and Bayley hasn’t wrestled on PPV since the pre-show of Backlash in May. Could the return of the Bella twins push them even further down the card as Evolution draws closer?

Now let’s see whose stock has increased the most this week:

Stock Up #3: Rusev Day

Aiden English continues to prove his mettle and now Rusev Day will finally get a championship match against New Day at Hell in a Cell...Kickoff.

Stock Up #2: Mick Foley

Foley returned to Raw this week, interrupted Elias with a great promo, and now finds himself refereeing the main event match at Hell in a Cell. With Kurt Angle sent home, could Mick possibly have his eyes set on that General Manager position again?

Stock Up #1: Bella Twins

The Bella Twins are being aggressively pushed and have overwhelmed the Riott Sqaud these last two weeks on Raw. Brie also main evented SmackDown and punched Miz right in the face. The Bella Twins are surging right now.

There you have it, Cagesiders. Whose stock do you think has changed the most this week?
