WWE Mae Young Classic 2018: Full spoilers for taping night two

WWE.com

After an eventful night one, WWE returns to Full Sail Live tonight to shoot more of the 2018 Mae Young Classic (MYC), their seemingly annual women’s tournament.

Thurs., Aug. 9 is the second of two nights of filming. We covered night one’s action in this post here. Tonight’s action will feature the later rounds of the tournament leading all the way up to the finals.

We haven’t seen an official bracket yet, but we should be able to piece one together once results start rolling in from Florida.

We'll be updating those here live, starting at the scheduled 6:30 pm ET bell time:

  • Toni Storm over Hiroyo Matsumoto (Mae Young Classic 2018 Second Round Match)
  • Rhea Ripley over Kacy Catanzaro (Mae Young Classic 2018 Second Round Match)
  • Lacey Lane over Taynara Conti (Mae Young Classic 2018 Second Round Match)
  • Meiko Satomura over Mercedes Martinez (Mae Young Classic 2018 Second Round Match)
  • Io Shirai over Zeuxis (Mae Young Classic 2018 Second Round Match)
  • Deonna Purrazzo over Xia Li (Mae Young Classic 2018 Second Round Match)
  • Tegan Nox over Nicole Matthews (Mae Young Classic 2018 Second Round Match)
  • Mia Yim over Kaitlyn (Mae Young Classic 2018 Second Round Match)
  • Rachel Evers over Karen Q
  • Meiko Satomura over Lacey Lane (Mae Young Classic 2018 Quarterfinal Match)
  • Io Shirai over Deonna Purrazzo (Mae Young Classic 2018 Quarterfinal Match)
  • Toni Storm over Mia Yim (Mae Young Classic 2018 Quarterfinal Match)
  • Mia Yim got some “Please sign Mia” chants after ala Cedric Alexander in the Cruiserweight Classic.
  • Rhea Ripley over Tegan Nox after Nox seemingly legitimately injured her knee and medics were called to the ring (Mae Young Classic 2018 Quarterfinal Match)
  • Jessie Elaban, MJ Jenkins, & Xia Brookside over Allysin Kay, Reina Gonzalez, & Vanessa Kraven
  • Aerial Monroe & Candice LeRae over Jinny & Killer Kelly
  • Triple H comes out to address the crowd to another round of “Please sign Mia” chants. He mentions Tegan’s injury (a broken leg, as it turns out) and says it’s just a speed bump and she’s got a bright future.
  • Toni Storm over Meiko Satomura (Mae Young Classic 2018 Semifinal Match)
  • Io Shirai vs. Rhea Ripley (Mae Young Classic 2018 Semifinal Match)

There you have it, folks
