Tonight was a victory for tag team wrestling in the WWE. With a shot versus The Bludgeon Brothers at SummerSlam on the line, The Bar and The New Day brought out the best in each other.
Winning their way to the the finals of SmackDown GM Paige’s four team tournament, Kofi Kingston and Big E represented The New Day versus Sheamus and Cesaro.
As the match wore on, The Bar held the early edge thanks to their isolation tactics on Kofi Kingston. Both Sheamus and Cesaro beat down on the veteran member of The New Day and controlled most of the match.

Then after another brief rally, The Bar again squashed The New Day’s hopes and dreams.
