Jeff Hardy turned 41-years-old today and WWE decided one way to pay tribute to him would be releasing the above video, where he throws himself from very high places. He’s been doing exactly that for a number of years, and it has taken a toll. As he himself said it, he won’t even do a normal Swanton from the top rope at house shows anymore because his back is so beat up. He also only recently had his hand wake back up after spending what he claimed was some seven weeks asleep due to a nerve issue in his elbow.
It really puts into perspective how much we should appreciate his willingness to go above and beyond by doing what he does in the embedded video.
Also, he should probably not do anything like this anymore.
Oh, he has a Hell in a Cell match against Randy Orton booked in just two weeks?
