23 unique performers competed in a match on the main card of SummerSlam 2018.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at which performers have currently wrestled on the most consecutive pay-per-view (PPV) events as of August 2018. The only rules are that the superstar must have wrestled for more than zero seconds on the main card of the PPV (sorry, pre-show fans), and brand-exclusive events will not be counted against roster members of the alternative brand. The Greatest Royal Rumble event was omitted from this exercise.

  • 30 events - AJ Styles
  • 15 events - Seth Rollins
  • 14 events - Shinsuke Nakamura
  • 12 events - Braun Strowman
  • 8 events - Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens
  • 6 events - Alexa Bliss
  • 5 events - Daniel Bryan
  • 4 events - Carmella
  • 3 events - Finn Balor
  • 2 events - Corbin, Jeff Hardy, Harper, Rowan, Ziggler
  • 1 event - Lesnar, Rousey, Joe, Becky, Charlotte, Big E, Woods, Miz

The Phenomenal One has now wrestled on 30 consecutive PPV events, starting with his debut at Royal Rumble 2016. He has finally surpassed Kevin Owens’ incredible streak of 29 events that ended at Survivor Series 2017.

For those readers who prefer including the pre-show, it’s worth noting that Kevin Owens did indeed wrestle on the pre-show of that card, and his streak would still be active at 38 events in that case, also going all the way back to his WWE debut in May 2015.

And here are the streaks that ended at SummerSlam.

  • 7 events - Nia Jax
  • 3 events - Bobby Lashley
  • 2 events - Asuka, Rusev
  • 1 event - Dallas, Axel, Matt Hardy, Wyatt, Kane

What do you think about this list of active streaks, Cagesiders? Which wrestler (besides Rowan) is most likely to fall off the list next month?
