We’ll see how long WWE can stick to their guns on the angle which saw Kevin Owens “quit” on Raw last night (Aug. 27). In his posted calling for KO to be kept off Raw for the next 3 - 4 months, my man Cain A. Knight reminds us their track record on committing to these types of stories isn’t great.
But they’re starting off on the right foot, at least with the small details. Like moving Owens to the “Alumni” section of wwe.com, right in between the Spirit Squad’s Kenny and Dungeon of Doom’s Kevin Sullivan:

And, Owens, of course, is more than happy to use his social media to add a little depth to the kayfabe. His Twitter has more or less “gone dark”:

With only two tweets not wiped out: one depicting his various title victories in the company, and another the last few months of beatings and humiliations he’s suffered at the hands of Braun Strowman:

Doesn’t mean he won’t be back next week. But it doesn’t not mean he won’t show up after a break with Sami Zayn and Neville in tow... okay, if probably doesn’t mean that at all, but let a fella dream, will ya?
We’ll have to keep tuning in to see what’s next for the WWE Alum who calls himself ‘.’
