The word going around, originating from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, is that WWE has been planning to main event the upcoming all women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, scheduled for Sun., Oct. 28, 2018, in Long Island, New York, with a Ronda Rousey vs. Nikki Bella match.
Presumably, this would be for the Raw women’s championship, considering Rousey holds the title, but there’s at least a chance she loses it before then at Hell in a Cell. That seems highly unlikely, but it’s at least possible.
The idea behind a match like this is, well, that Rousey and Bella are the two biggest female stars WWE currently has on the roster, and they want to take advantage of that by booking a match between the two in what should be a major event. There’s sound business logic there, but it may prove creatively unsatisfying.
That said, there’s really only one question to ask you.
