It’s been a long time since we heard anything from Neville and until recently WWE wasn’t addressing his status either. The former cruiserweight champion left the company all the way back in October of last year and he hasn’t spoken out even once since then. It was only just this week that Triple H answered a question about him on a conference call, saying “time will tell” but also making sure to note he would have to check his status.
Well, according to a new report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, his status is that he’s no longer under contract with WWE.
There’s no mention of when exactly that became the case, so it’s impossible to know if he’s operating with a no compete clause as of this writing. It’s hard not to read at least something into recent tweets like this, though:
Me too. I talked to him the other day. He’s good.— The Young Bucks (@MattJackson13) August 23, 2018
We’re just one week away from ALL IN. Perhaps a surprise is in order?
Either way, it looks like the saga of Neville and his time with WWE has come to an end.
