It’s Aug. 24, which means the most powerful man in professional wrestling is celebrating another birthday. Indeed, Vince McMahon turned 73 years old today. I can’t imagine this is actually him — it’s surely some intern running the account — but here’s this:

Even at 73, Vince is still the man in charge at WWE with no real signs of slowing down anytime soon. It’s incredible to think of, really. Everything you see on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live each week, every push you agree or don’t agree with, every storyline you like or dislike, was approved by this man. It all runs through him.
The health of WWE is in the hands of a 73-year-old man.
