It ain’t always easy be a wrestling legend.
We’ll start with the more lighthearted anecdote, from the Texas Rattlesnake himself, Steve Austin. Seems when old Stone Cold went to get himself a morning meal, somebody approached and gave him a “Aren’t you Bill Goldberg?” instead of a “Hell Yeah”:
Just got mistaken for @Goldberg at Denny’s this morning. I’ve never been so insulted. #whosnext? pic.twitter.com/J00swcYHBd

Something somethings all bald middle aged white guys look alike something something...
Hopefully, Austin doesn’t get mistaken for the former Universal Champ by anyone else. Like, say, the Secret Service agents Goldberg called today after a series of since-deleted tweets from his account went up this morning calling President Donald Trump a couple different off-color names, accusing him of “threating” his wife and calling out his fellow WWE Hall of Famer to a fight.
A short time later, however, Goldberg tweeted this:
Obviously I was just hacked......
— Bill Goldberg (@Goldberg) August 22, 2018
After telling TMZ he’d called the Secret Service and took down the messages himself, Goldberg said:
“I’m sick and flippin’ tired of people trying to steal people’s identity because it’s happened to me a number of times. These people are bullies and I’m sick and tired of it.”
That hacker is next. Then probably Austin, although if Stone Cold keeps pounding Grand Slam breakfasts, he probably won’t be in any shape to take a spear.
