The New Day got their rematch and the Bludgeon Brothers made them pay for it.
Booked for the main event of this week’s SmackDown, The New Day and the Bludgeon Brothers made the best use of the no disqualification stipulation added to their title match.
With Big E ruled out of the match earlier in the night due to a rib injury sustained at SummerSlam and Rowan battling rumored injuries himself, the SmackDown tag title match quickly became a coin-toss once it began.
Then Harper tossed a desk chair at the face at Kofi Kingston and the match turned in the champ’s favor.

The tandem of Kingston and Xavier Woods battled back again and again as the Bludgeon Brothers found new and exciting ways to destroy their opponents.
Tables, ladders and chairs were all brought into the match as the champs dominated the challengers for the majority of the match.
Running out of weapons at their disposal, Harper and Rowan brought out their hammers to finish off The New Day. Outside of the ring, Rowan looked to crush Woods but instead rammed himself through the timekeeper’s area.
Down to just Harper, Kingston and Woods rallied back for the first time in the title match. With Kingston holding Harper down on a table hit a massive Limit Breaker that finished off the champ’s and made The New Day five-time WWE tag team champions.
