Cup of coffee in the big time: Who gets something out of a Hulk Hogan WWE return?

It’s time to talk about Hulk Hogan again.

I’ve talked previously about the need to just let Hogan be in the WWE Hall of Fame for his legitimate place in wrestling history, but to otherwise let him go away — forcing him to do so if need be.

But as rumors continue to swirl over a Hogan “return” in some capacity, I can’t figure out who the hell it would be for.

Are that really that many people who would be excited to see a racist (via his own admission) senior citizen yell nonsensical things at a camera? If so, look up the channel listing for Fox News and you’re all set.

Putting Hogan back on camera in any capacity would provide a temporary pop from a live crowd surprised to see him, but it would also upset at least as many as it would excite.

Were there a ratings boost — and I doubt it’d be a big one — is that worth the ensuing conversation?

WWE recently signed new TV deals worth literally billions of dollars. Keep grinding away on the product and maybe avoid the old white dude who uses the “n-word” when he gets upset.

2018 isn’t the time to embrace those figures, it’s time to put them away.

Instead of something about it being Thursday, just enjoy these Command Bolshoi GIFs I’ve been watching this morning.
