WWE SmackDown Live, Miz & Mrs. ratings (Aug. 14, 2018): More meh than awesome

WWE.com

It was a teensy bit up here, a tiny bit down there, there and there for WWE and USA Network on Tues., Aug. 14.

SmackDown saw it’s viewership and demographic rating tick down for the second straight week. The audience fell by about 8000 viewers to 2,189,000. That made the blue show the sixth most watched program among cable originals on the night, behind the political talking heads on Fox News and MSNBC.

It’s rating among 18 - 49 year olds also fell to .70. That was the lowest in a month, but still good enough to win the night.

Fresh off its in-season renewal, Miz & Mrs.’ lost about 62K out of its audience and drew 1,162,000 viewers. It’s rating was the only metric trending up, as it climbed to a .51 (from last week’s .47) to finish third on the night on cable.

SummerSlam fallout should get more eyes on the blue brand next week, which should help the show which follows it, too. Here’s a list of SmackDown’s numbers over the past six months:
