NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4’s card is almost complete

Hard to believe, but SummerSlam weekend is only a little more than two weeks away. So it makes sense NXT would go ahead and get the hype train officially rolling by announcing most of the matches we’ll be getting on their show the night before “The Biggest Party of the Summer”.

TakeOver: Brooklyn is the show many think of as the black-and-yellow brand’s WrestleMania, and General Manager William Regal is putting together a card which looks worthy of that designation.

We already knew about the Mae Young Classic finals rematch where Kairi Sane will challenge Shayna Baszler for the Women’s Title. The episode which aired tonight (Weds., Aug. 1) added two more championship bouts and a high-profile men’s singles match to the line-up.

First, Trent Seven and Tyler Bate announced they’d be exercising their rematch clause to try and regain the Tag Titles from Undisputed ERA’s Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly.

That wasn’t the only ERA-related news, either, as Regal booked the match Ricochet requested last week - against Adam Cole for his North American Title.

And since Velveteen Dream and EC3 weren’t able to stay on the same page as tag partners when they were in London for the United Kingdom Championship Tournament shows, so Mr. Regal will have them fight about it Barclays Center.

Which really just leaves the NXT Championship itself. But if you watched the closing angle of the latest episode, I’d say the direction is pretty clear.

Here’s what we know for sure:

- Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Kairi Sane for the Women’s Championship
- Moustache Mountain vs. Undisputed ERA (c) for the Tag Team Titles
- Adam Cole (c) vs. Ricochet for the North American Championship
- Velveteen Dream vs. EC3

What do you think, Cagesiders? That look like a Brooklyn-worthy card to you?
