WWE SmackDown Live ratings (July 31, 2018): More A-List numbers on Tuesday

WWE on Twitter

The blue brand may be headed to Fridays and a different network next year, but for now, WWE and USA are loving Tuesday nights.

SmackDown delivered its biggest audience in nearly three months on July 31, with 2,401,000 tuning in to watch Jeff Hardy, Charlotte Flair and company - an increase of 61K from last week and the fourth straight week of growth. That was good enought to make the blue brand the fifth most watched program among cable originals on the night, behind the usual suspects on Fox News and MSNBC.

In demographic rating, SmackDown held the same number as last week: a .75 among 18 - 49 year olds.

But that’s not all! While Miz & Mrs.’ audience and rating were down as expected from their July 24 premiere, episode two was the third highest rated cable show of the night (behind SmackDown and Bravo’s reality show Below Deck Mediterranean). Mike and Maryse’s baby shower drew 1,303,000 viewers and a .46 at 10 p.m. Eastern (down from 1.47 million and a .58 last Tuesday).

While you wonder if this means Miz really is too big a draw to mess with Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam, here’s a list of SmackDown’s numbers over the past six months:
