Charlotte Flair added to SummerSlam title match & Becky Lynch isn’t happy

With friends like these, who needs enemies?

This was not a good night for Becky Lynch. Sure her best friend Charlotte Flair returned and actually saved her from a beating courtesy of Carmella, but something just didn’t feel right.

Even after Flair made the save to open this week’s episode of SmackDown, the spotlight shifted from Lynch’s problems to The Queen’s dramatic return.

Later in the night, SmackDown GM Paige put Carmella in the main event opposite of Flair. If Flair won she would join Carmella and Becky Lynch in the SmackDown women’s title match to make it a triple threat.

In her first in-ring action in over a month, Flair did win but Lynch wasn’t excited for her friend’s comeback victory. Lynch looked genuinely upset and could not hide her emotions as the WWE cameras kept cutting to her in the back.

The odds of Becky Lynch winning back the SmackDown women’s title just got worse, thanks to her best friend Charlotte Flair.

Now directly competing against each other, and Carmella, can the friendship of Lynch and Flair make it to SummerSlam?
