Marina Shafir makes WWE debut at NXT house show

The WWE’s women’s roster is getting just as crowded as the men’s these days, but there are a couple recent signees without much pro wrestling experience who will likely be fast-tracked into the spotlight. One of them made her WWE in-ring debut last night (July 26) at NXT’s house show in Largo, Florida.

Behold, the third horsewoman of MMA...

Marina Shafir was supposed to debut along with the final member of Ronda Rousey’s clique, Jessamyn Duke. Duke didn’t work the show, and there’s no word on why that didn’t happen. but Shafir teamed with Nikki Cross (who sure does get around these days) to defeat Rhea Ripley and Aliyah.

Marina made Aliyah tap to earn the win for her team, despite attempted interference by Aliyah ally Reina González. Luckily, Nikki and Shafir had Xia Li there to counter the numbers game...

How long until we see Roderick Strong’s better half on our screens? When will Duke show up? Will they be alongside Shayna Baszler and Rousey?

Evolution is a mystery...
