This right here is the kind of thing that makes you embarrassed to be a pro wrestling fan. The attempt at humor is fine, but there are so many issues with everything surrounding it, like booking a legitimately believable monster like Braun Strowman to carry around a dumb green briefcase while acting like he’s still a monster to be feared, when the most you’re getting is flipped over cars — for no good reason at all — and dudes getting pushed over after trying to hide out in a porta-potty.
This attempted parody of a monumental NBA event is the definition of cringe. You’re supposed to see it and laugh but if you can look at that and feel anything other than ridiculous for actually spending your time watching this, well, great for you. And, hey, I won’t pretend I know better — after all, they just signed TV rights deals, with this very program included, that total over $2 billion.
