In 2016, Cedric Alexander was a Ring of Honor (ROH) mid-carder who got a shot in WWE’s Cruiserweight Classic.
In 2017, he was a contracted Superstar on the much-ridiculed 205 Live, cast as one of many chasing one of two heel champions.
In 2018, he won a championship at WrestleMania to set himself up as the top guy on the critically-acclaimed revamp of 205 Live.
But perhaps the best thing to happen to him this year occurred this past weekend. And while it wouldn’t have been possible without his career, and a lot of wrestlers and folks from the business were there, it didn’t happen in a ring.
Last Friday (June 29), Alexander and independent wrestler Aerial Monroe tied the knot...
May the love you share today grow stronger as you grow old together. Congrats to @CedricAlexander and @aerialmonroe pic.twitter.com/a0u3XE1bIg

Monroe turned around and wrestled in a tournament on Saturday night in Los Angeles. No word on what Cedric was up to... probably just enjoying his blessed year.
Congrats to the happy couple!
