Full spoilers from NXT’s July 18, 2018 tapings at Full Sail

With only a little more than a month to go before TakeOver: Brooklyn 4, NXT’s got a lot to do during their filming at Full Sail Live on June 21.

This evening’s show will provide the bulk of the material for four episodes of the black-and-yellow brand’s regular Wednesday night series on WWE Network. And not only will they be the last four shows before their next live special Sat., Aug. 18 in Barclays, but they’ll include a NXT Championship match between Tommaso Ciampa and Aleister Black!

And we’ll be right here with you as results start rolling in from Winter Park, Florida, updating those live, starting at the scheduled 6:30PM Eastern bell time:

  • Jeet Rama over Chase Adams in your dark match of the evening.
  • Adam Cole over Sean Maluta.
  • After the match, Ricochet comes out to challenge Cole for his NXT North American Championship at TakeOver: Brooklyn 4! Adam turns him down and is joined by the rest of Undisputed ERA to intimidate Ricochet, but War Raiders come down to even the odds!
  • Undisputed manage to sneak away... only to be cornered by Moustache Mountain and forced into a brawl to close the segment!
  • Lacey Evans over Tenilla Price.
  • Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight) over the Mighty (Nick Miller & Shane Thorne) after Street Profits show up in the crowd and distract Miller and Thorne.
  • Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) over State Line (??? & ???). (This State Line do not appear to be the long-time Florida indie tag team of Damien Angel & Eddie Taurus that work regularly for World Wrestling Network affiliate ACW.)
  • After the match, Moustache Mountain issue a challenge for a rematch for the tag titles in Brooklyn.
  • EC3 over Kona Reeves. During the match, Velveteen Dream cut a promo on EC3.
  • Shayna Baszler over Candice LeRae.
  • After the match, Shayna continues to attack Candice, but Kairi Sane makes the save!
  • Tommaso Ciampa over Aleister Black (c) to win the NXT Championship! The closing stretches of the match featured a referee bump on the floor and a run-in from Johnny Gargano that saw him attack both men.
  • Nikki Cross over Amber Nova.
  • Ricochet makes his entrance and is blindsided by Undisputed ERA! Adam Cole accepts his challenge!
  • Kassius Ohno over Adrian Jaoude.
  • A debuting Keith Lee over Marcel Barthel!
  • Taynara Conti over Vanessa Borne to qualify for the Mae Young Classic.
  • Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) over the Mighty (Nick Miller & Shane Thorne).
  • Tommaso Ciampa comes out to cut his first promo as champion, saying this is his NXT now. He gloats about how he won and Gargano lost, claims to be the greatest of all time, and even gets into it with an older lady in the front row at one point.
  • Aleister Black interrupts but Johnny comes running down to attack Ciampa and say it won’t be his NXT as long as he’s around, which leads Black to lay Gargano out with a kick.
  • Kairi Sane over Aliyah.
  • Tyler Bate over Roderick Strong.
  • Velveteen Dream comes out for a promo wherein he calls EC3 out. EC3 fires back, a match between them is made official for TakeOver: Brooklyn 4, and he drops VD with his finisher.
  • Aleister Black vs. Johnny Gargano goes to a no-contest after Tommaso Ciampa runs in and attacks both men.
  • William Regal comes down as they brawl and makes it official for TakeOver: Brooklyn 4— Black vs. Gargano vs. Ciampa with the NXT Championship on the line!
