Last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw hit record lows for viewership but there was some reason to be optimistic, considering the Extreme Rules pay-per-view was just days away and the fallout show would be the next evening. Sure enough, despite tough competition from MLB’s Home Run Derby, viewership was back up this week.
Raw drew 2.86 million viewers, up big from last week’s 2.47 million. The hourly breakdown looks back to normal too:
Hour one: 3.11 million
Hour two: 2.85 million
Hour three: 2.62 million
Next week will see Bobby Lashley vs. Roman Reigns with the winner challenging Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, and a Raw tag team title match pitting The B-Team against The Deleters of Worlds. It looked back last week but WWE looks to already be bouncing back strong.
