Daniel Bryan may want a lighter schedule and he may also not have any real trust in WWE to tell long term stories but he’s still probably going to re-sign with the company before his contract is up come September.
That’s what he told The Business Times, and he’s got a pretty good reason why:
“The wrestling world is an interesting world right now but I love working with WWE and my wife (Brie Bella) is a part of WWE and so there’s a good chance I’ll re-sign.”
In that very same interview, he speaks of pursuing creative satisfaction on par with what he did at WrestleMania 30. The chances of his finding that outside of WWE would seem much higher than finding it inside, considering the creative freedom he would undoubtedly have were he to leave.
That said, as he mentions, there are more issues at play than simply creative satisfaction. And, hey, he’s having a blast teaming up with Kane again anyway.
