WWE SmackDown Live ratings (June 5, 2018): Numbers flat even with no sports competition

WWE.com

Slow and steady wins the race.

WWE continues to pull in numbers better than pretty much anything that isn’t a live sports playoff game. But with SmackDown not going against any of those on June 5, you might have expected a boost in its viewership and ratings.

Well... it still did really well among cable originals on the night, but there was no boost.

The episode featuring showdowns in the WWE and Women’s Title programs and other build toward the Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) drew an audience of 2,138,000, down 57K from May 29. That was the seventh biggest audience among cable originals on the night, behind the usual political talk shows on Fox News and MSNBC.

For rating among 18 - 49 year olds, WWE won the night with a .67, up from the .66 they pulled last Tuesday.

We’ll see what the ‘go home’ show does next week. Here’s a list of SmackDown’s numbers over the past six months (including overall 18 - 49 year old ratings for 2018 episodes):
