The fallout from Money in the Bank gave SmackDown it’s best numbers in weeks on June 19. But with no pay-per-view (PPV) behind or immediately in front of Team Blue last night (June 26), viewership and ratings returned to they’ve been since early May.
SmackDown drew an audience of 2,135,000, down nearly 200K from the week prior. That was good for the seventh biggest audience among cable originals on the night, behind the usual political talk shows on Fox News and MSNBC - but it was still the worst number of 2018 for WWE on a Tuesday night.
As far as rating among 18 - 49 year olds, that dropped sharply, too. In fact, the .64 was not only down from last week’s .78, it was also a low for the year.
