It’s still summer time, so nothing’s really setting the world on fire in terms of television numbers, but the fallout from last Sunday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view (PPV) brought WWE it’s best Tuesday night numbers in a while on June 19.
SmackDown drew an audience of 2,315,000, up 132 K overJune 12’s episode. That was the eighth biggest audience among cable originals on the night, behind the usual political talk shows on Fox News and MSNBC.
For rating among 18 - 49 year olds, the numbers were also promising. Tuesday’s .78 was not only up from the .66 they pulled last Tuesday, but the best ratings number SmackDown’s achieved in that demographic since April.
