Although Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows were beaten clean in their first match against The Bludgeon Brothers for the SmackDown tag team titles at Money in the Bank, they were given another shot on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
They lost again.
This went a bit less like the first encounter, with the Good Brothers getting more offense in and looking like legitimate, credible threats to the top team in the division. Harper and Rowan treated them as such too, putting them over just for that.
Still, that was just in service of ultimately putting the Bludgeon Brothers over. They’re now without any currently credible challengers.
In an interesting bit, Daniel Bryan interrupted them as they were leaving, making his entrance for the main event Gauntlet match. They stared each other down but nothing happened beyond that.
Intrigue!
