That was quick. Tonight’s (Jun. 12) edition of SmackDown emanated from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee, so the WWE announced earlier in the day that pro wrestling legend Jerry “The King” Lawler would make a special appearance.
It was a brief appearance. Lawler was tasked with interviewing WWE Champion AJ Styles before his match this Sunday versus Shinsuke Nakamura. The King’s interview basically lasted for one single question.
