It looks like Seth Rollins and Elias chirping at each other on social media may have led to some on the fly booking. Did these two just shoot themselves into a work? Is that a thing now?
Last Monday on Raw, Rollins interrupted an Elias musical performance so he could defend his Intercontinental title versus Jinder Mahal. Elias responded to Rollins’ slight by breaking a guitar over the champion’s back and sending him crashing off the commentary's desk onto the arena floor.
Seems like a reasonable response.
Today (May 31) Twitter, Rollins fired back at Elias, The Drifter challenged him to a title match at Money in the Bank and it looks like The Kingslayer accepted via quote tweet.
