Rey Mysterio wants to lead a new LWO in WWE

It’s often been said WWE wants to find their next Latin Superstar, a performer who can carry the mantle of Rey Mysterio into this global era of pro wrestling.

They’ve got a number of options on the roster now, including a heck of a talent in the recently promoted former NXT Champion, Andrade “Cien” Almas. What does Almas need to get over the hump? How can the company get him to the next level, and better use the stable of Cruiserweights led by former United States Titleholder Kalisto, or his former tag partner, the steady hand Sin Cara?

Mysterio has an idea. And you don’t need to speak Español to understand it (also, Harry Ruiz’s tweet spells it out for us):

For you youngsters who haven’t caught up on your Nitro viewing via the award-winning WWE Network yet, the Latino World Order was a short-lived WCW faction from the late 1990s led by Eddie Guerrero. It ended up setting up another feud between Mysterio and The Outsiders in the waning days of nWo drama, and eventually led to another stable for Eddie and Rey whose name The ‘E probably wouldn’t and shouldn’t want to use in 2018.

But LWO, y’all! Anyone down for a new group of Latino Superstars in Vince McMahon’s fed?
