Tonight (May 1) on SmackDown, GM Paige began the show with a little bit of breaking news. Coming off their indecisive finish at the Greatest Royal Rumble, this Sunday’s WWE championship match between title holder AJ Styles and challenger Shinsuke Nakamura would be a no disqualification match.

Nakamura celebrated the new stipulation by hitting Styles in the balls later in the night.
The Backlash pay-per-view (PPV) takes place on Sun., May 6, 2018, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
