When Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn lost to Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 34 last night (Sun., April 8, 2018) in New Orleans, Louisiana, they remained fired from SmackDown Live. It’s only natural, then, that they showed up on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw looking for work.
Raw General Manager Kurt Angle said he only has one spot open, so he booked them in a match against each other with the stipulation that the winner would be hired.

This is just one week from the Superstar Shakeup, which makes the timing at least moderately interesting.
We’ll update once the match is complete.
UPDATE: Neither of them were able to answer a 10 count during their match, so neither of them won and neither of them were awarded a job.
