The Usos must defeat New Day and The Bludgeon Brothers to secure their WrestleMania moment

WWE.com

A classic feud and some dudes with hammers

For the better part of ten months The Usos and The New Day have been apart of one of the better tag-team rivalries the WWE has seen in years. At WrestleMania 34 The Bludgeon Brothers are added to the mix.

The story so far

The Usos and The New Day have been feuding on and off since before the Money in the Bank 2017 Network special. With both teams on SmackDown after last April’s superstar shakeup, Kofi Kingston’s ankle injury made the WWE’s favorite pancake fueled trio wait nearly two months before they got their first crack at The Uso’s titles.

At Money in the Bank, The New Day would defeat The Usos by count out. The New Day would capture the titles at Battleground in July 2017. The squads would ping-pong the titles back and forth, until the New Day earned another title shot at Fastlane.

The build to WrestleMania

There was one, okay two large bearded problems, with The Usos defending their titles versus The New Day at Fastlane. Harper and Rowan were having none of it. Armed with over-sized, some would say novelty, hammers The Bludgeon Brothers hijacked the SmackDown tag title match at Fastlane and laid everyone to waste.

The go-home show

Ever since their mauling at Fastlane both The Usos and The New Day have been trying to catch The Bludgeon Brothers sleeping. Sometimes together and sometimes in spite of one another. On the Mar. 27 edition of SD Live, all three teams were put into a triple threat match at WrestleMania 34.

On the go-home show to WrestleMania, all three teams literally did nothing. Well they did remind everyone that the WWE Network is f-r-e-e for new subscribers in a surreal backstage segment (commercial).

Will The Bludgeon Brothers become the first team other then The Usos or The New Day to hold the SmackDown titles since American Alpha? Will The New Day become five time WWE tag team champions? Or will The Usos have their first WrestleMania main card moment?

Tune into cSs for full bell-to-bell coverage of WrestleMania 34 this Sunday starting at 5:00 p.m. ET with the Kickoff show leading right on into the main card at 7 p.m. ET.
