New video shows Daniel Bryan attempting his first backflip in three years

Daniel Bryan hasn’t lost a step. Only few days away from WrestleMania 34, it still is kind of surreal that the pro wrestling world will get to watch a Daniel Bryan match in 2018.

Bryan was retired, the WWE doctors kept telling him he could not compete and he was settling into his role as an onscreen authority figure. Then 19 days before WrestleMania 34 he was cleared by the WWE for an in-ring return and everyone’s jaws dropped.

There’s being in-shape, then there’s being in-wrestling-shape. Two years into his retirement and less than three weeks since he was cleared by WWE doctors, Bryan is working is way back into ring-shape before his WrestleMania tag match with Shane McMahon, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

A cool moment caught on film during his comeback trail was Daniel Bryan attempting his first backflip in three years. Check out the training footage below

In his first match back, how will Bryan change his in-ring style at all?
