UFC President Dana White is all about WrestleMania week. Late last night White broke the news that current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is coming back to the UFC. Today (Apr. 5) in a new interview White was asked about another pro wrestling to MMA crossover, CM Punk.

Speaking with TMZ Sports, White confirmed that Punk’s second fight in the UFC would in fact be against Mike “The Truth” Jackson. Both Punk and Jackson lost to current UFC welterweight Mickey Gall in their UFC debuts.

White did not say the location of Punk’s next fight but it has long been rumored to take place at UFC 225 in Chicago on June 9.

In the second half of the interview, White was asked about his plans for Lesnar once he returns to the UFC.

“I don’t know we have to see how the heavyweight division plays out. Stipe is fighting Daniel Cormier and after that fight happens we’ll have a better idea what we want to do with Brock.”

It looks like whenever Brock Lesnar returns to the UFC he will be positioned right back into the heavyweight title picture.

The UFC 226 heavyweight title fight between Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier takes place on Sat., July 7 in Las Vegas. The fight date is almost exactly two years after Lesnar returned to the cage and defeated Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in July 2016.

With so much Lesnar news coming out during the week of WrestleMania 34, will it affect The Beast Incarnate at all in his match versus Roman Reigns or how the crowd in New Orleans receives the main event?
