Shane McMahon returned to SmackDown tonight (Apr. 3) to a hero’s welcome. Serving as the go-home show to WrestleMania 34, Daniel Bryan opened up SD Live and introduced McMahon to the Nashville live crowd.
McMahon grabbed the mic and immediately congratulated Bryan on his in-ring return. Bryan’s reply to McMahon was to apologize to him for trusting Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
"Congrats on being medically cleared to do what YOU LOVE and what WE LOVE to watch you do!" - @ShaneMcMahon to @WWEDanielBryan

But @WWEDanielBryan isn't the only one that's medically cleared, @ShaneMcMahon WILL compete at #WrestleMania! #SDLive pic.twitter.com/i6hKRnZ8Ba
McMahon would then aplogize to Bryan for actions towards him, Owens, and Zayn over the last six months.
Nashville didn't want to see @WWEDanielBryan & @shanemcmahon resolve their issues with a handshake...#HugItOut #SDLive #WrestleMania pic.twitter.com/IhxGw2THN4

With Bryan’s encouragement, they capped off their meeting with a good old fashioned hug.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Bryan and McMahon made up for many months of arguments rather quickly. Are they really on the same page heading into WrestleMania 34 this Sun., April 8, 2018, in New Orleans?
