Mark Henry might wear the salmon jacket for his WWE Hall of Fame induction

Mark Henry did a lot of great things throughout his illustrious career with WWE — I’m still terrified of the proprietor of the Hall of Pain and contend that’s one of the best runs of any character over the past 20 years of WWE television — but the segment that may stand out the most is his fake retirement in 2013.

You remember it: He gave an emotional speech about his career, with John Cena right there to witness it, and capped it off with one hell of a swerve when he hit the then WWE champion with the World’s Strongest Slam. And he did it all while wearing a salmon jacket.

It remains one of the greatest segments in the history of Monday Night Raw. Go watch it here if you don’t believe me.

That’s why fans are hopeful he’ll be bringing that salmon jacket back for his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame on Fri., April 6, 2018, in New Orleans. When asked in the above video, he had this to say:

“I don’t know, man. I’m thinking about it because so many people want it. I always did my best to give the fans what they wanted, so it might make an appearance.”

He’s gotta wear it, right?

Just make sure Cena isn’t anywhere close.
