WWE Greatest Royal Rumble results: Rollins steals a win from Bálor in amazing ladder match finish

One of the more highly anticipated matches of Greatest Royal Rumble took the stage about midway through the show on Friday, April 27 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Intercontinental Champ Seth Rollins entered first, getting the lay of the land before the three men who would challenge for his belt in a ladder match - Finn Bálor, The Miz and Samoa Joe.

It didn’t take long for the standard occurrences in a bout with this stipulation to appear. Strange bedfellows and a ladder came into play when Miz and Rollins teamed up to take out Joe, before Finn flew onto both of them:

Miz tried for an alliance with Joe, and got shoved down for his trouble.

He also took a ladder to gut before the Samoan Submission Machine suplexed both Bálor and Rollins off the top turnbuckle.

The Irishman put an end to that, hitting a Coup de Grace while Miz was laid out on a ladder. The fight was between Finn and Joe for a long while after that, and it looked like Bálor was going to become Intercontinental Champ for the first time.

But then Crossfit Jesus pulled off the heist of the century, springboarding off the top rope onto the ladder...

... pulling his title down and leaping back down to the mat to celebrate while Finn was left wondering what might have been...
