The second of three chances championship matches between Raw and SmackDown Superstars was also our second straight Hardy brothers bout at Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27. Jinder Mahal entered King Abdullah Sports City Stadium looking to reclaim the United States Title from Jeff Hardy, redeeming himself after losing the belt during his first night on the red brand during the Superstar Shakeup earlier this month.
The Charismatic Enigma didn’t waste any time, getting right into his daredevil act:

It was the latest less-than-crisply worked match at the show, and included a hilarious botched spot where Mahal was out of position for a Whisper in the Wind, but sold it anyway after Hardy clearly whiffed.

Finally, Jeff retained - and kept the red, white and blue strap on SmackDown - when he countered the Khallas into a Twist of Fate, and followed that with a Twist of Fate.
