WWE makes Rey Mysterio, Great Khali, other big names official for Greatest Royal Rumble

The promotional push for the upcoming Greatest Royal Rumble event — scheduled for this Fri., April 27, 2018, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia — kicked into overdrive this week as WWE plastered it all over Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live. Now, despite advertisements having been available for days now confirming as much, the company has made official a few more names for the Greatest Royal Rumble match:

  • Randy Orton
  • Shane McMahon
  • Rey Mysterio
  • Mark Henry
  • Great Khali
  • Kevin Owens

That’s in addition to the 18 wrestlers who had previously been announced:

  • Daniel Bryan
  • Braun Strowman
  • Kurt Angle
  • Chris Jericho
  • Elias
  • Bobby Roode
  • Baron Corbin
  • Big E
  • Kofi Kingston
  • Xavier Woods
  • Apollo Crews
  • Shelton Benjamin
  • Sin Cara
  • Chad Gable
  • Goldust
  • Titus O’Neil
  • Mojo Rawley
  • Dolph Ziggler

That leaves 26 slots for the 50-man match.

In addition, Kalisto won a Guantlet match to earn a Cruiserweight title shot at Cedric Alexander. That rounds out the card with 10 matches for what is scheduled to be a 6-hour show:

  • Greatest Royal Rumble Match
  • John Cena vs. Triple H
  • Undertaker vs. Rusev (Casket match)
  • Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns (Universal championship steel cage match)
  • AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE championship)
  • Seth Rollins vs. The Miz vs. Samoa Joe vs. Finn Bálor (Intercontinental championship ladder match)
  • Jeff Hardy vs. Jinder Mahal (United States championship)
  • Woken Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt vs. Sheamus & Cesaro (Raw tag team championship)
  • The Bludgeon Brothers vs. The Usos (SmackDown tag team championship)
  • Cedric Alexander vs. Kalisto (Cruiserweight championship)
