Two more matches official for WWE Backlash 2018

Sorry, folks, you’re going to have to wait a bit on that Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz showdown.

Indeed, WWE made official that Bryan’s first singles match on pay-per-view (PPV) since his return will be against Big Cass, who himself just returned after time away healing a knee injury. The two will get it on at the upcoming Backlash event scheduled for Sun., May 6, 2018, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Cass targeted Bryan in his first act as a SmackDown wrestler following the Superstar Shakeup and they can both help each other knock the rust off as they ease back into active wrestling.

Elsewhere, Carmella and Charlotte officially signed the contract for their SmackDown women’s championship rematch to take place on this same show. Flair was always due a rematch and makes no sense to wait on it. So now we get it.
