Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar trade blows on final Raw before WrestleMania 34

A face-off three years in the making headlined the go-home-show for WrestleMania 34. Tonight (Apr. 2) Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns closed out Raw with one last opportunity for a physical altercation.

Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman entered in the ring first. Then by orders from Raw GM Kurt Angle, the entrance ramp was walled off by ten or so WWE wrestlers in order to prevent Reigns from attacking the WWE Universal Champion.

With Heyman on the mic, Lesnar’s final WrestleMania 34 promo centered on the Beast Incarnate leaving the WWE for the UFC. Heyman went on to even state that if Lesnar somehow, someway loses to Reigns to at Mania, this will be the last time you see either of them on WWE television.

As Heyman dropped the mic on the canvas, Reigns music hit and he made his way out to the ring. The human wall of wrestlers would even part for so the Big Dog could get his crack at the champion.

The two men would circle each other in the ring before Lesnar dipped out to grab a steel chair. Lesnar returned to the ring, stared down Reigns, then went in for an attack but was meant with a Superman punch to the chin. Lesnar go on to eat more Superman punches from The Big Dog while showing little sign of any sort of striking defense.

After five unanswered punches, Reigns grabbed the Universal title and made a quick glance at the WrestleMania 34 sign. Taking his eye off his opponent, Brock Lesnar struck back with cat like quickness and laid out Roman Reigns with a F-5.

Raw ended with Lesnar walking out of the ring and Reigns wondering what went wrong.

The build is done, so stands tall at the end of WrestleMania 34? Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns?
