Welllllll... Big Show is back to work for WWE, and on a day when he already rang the opening bell on Wall Street to promote WrestleMania and was announced as a participant in the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia later this month, the company still had another giant announcement involving The Giant.
At the Hall of Fame ceremony this Friday (April 6) at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Show will introduce Mark Henry as he’s enshrined in The WWE Hall of Fame.
The big men’s careers in The ‘E have largely overlapped, and they’ve butted heads on numerous occassions - including a ring-collapsing feud for Henry’s World Heavyweight Championship back in 2011. Outside the ring, they’re friends, and given that both are entertaining, engaging public speakers, Mark’s portion of the program could be a highlight of this year’s event.
We pretty much just need someone to introduce Kid Rock and the line-up for Friday’s show should be complete:
Goldberg, inducted by Paul Heyman
The Dudley Boyz, by Edge & Christian
Ivory, by Molly Holly
Hillbilly Jim, by Jimmy Hart
Jeff Jarrett, by Road Dogg
Mark Henry, by Big Show
Kid Rock
2018 Warrior Award recipient Jarrius “JJ” Robertson
