The Miz doesn’t regret Talking Smack shouting match with Daniel Bryan

WWE.com

The Miz is still fired up. On Aug. 23. 2016, The Miz dropped the biggest promo of his career on the lap of Daniel Bryan. What started out as a typical segment of the SmackDown post-show Talking Smack, quickly spiraled wildly out of control and became one of the best pro wrestling moments of the year.

Almost two years since The Miz snapped on Daniel Bryan, the Hollywood A-Lister recalled the promo and doesn’t seem to have any regrets about it.

First up, we all have to relive the Miz vs. Bryan rant.

Speaking with Complex, Miz talks about what set the stage for his mood when he arrived on the Talking Smack set.

“I was told that I wouldn’t be on the show with the Intercontinental title,” Mizanin recalls. “And I was really angry about that—that they couldn’t make time for the Intercontinental Champion. And I kind of took that out on our Smackdown general manager Daniel Bryan.”

Miz would also recall the aftermath of the interview from the WWE producers and fellow wrestlers.

“People backstage were packing their bags and leaving, and suddenly, everyone just stopped,” Mizanin recalls. “I only remember parts of that moment afterwards, because I was so angry. But I was just pacing. I didn’t know what to do with myself.”

Back on the same brand, how will the WWE handle a potential Miz versus Daniel Bryan feud moving forward?
