One night AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan will get to have a full match on SmackDown but tonight (Apr. 17) was not that night. Lost in day two of the WWE’s Superstar Shakeup was the main event of tonight’s SmackDown featuring Bryan and Styles teaming up against Rusev and Aiden English.
The match between was high pace and on its way to being a solid Tuesday night main event. Styles and Bryan competing on the same side was yet another dream scenario for pro wrestling fans.

When it looked like Bryan and Styles were closing in on a victory, Shinsuke Nakamura came through the crowd to lay out the WWE champion with yet another vicious low blow. With Styles laid out in pain, Bryan turned his back to check on his tag partner.
Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Big Cass flat lined Bryan with an unchecked kick to the head.
Big Cass returned earlier in the night and had a brief stare down with Bryan backstage. After years away the ring for Daniel Bryan and months on the sideline for Cass, it looks the two will feud on SmackDown.
How would you have booked Big Cass’ return?
