Jeff Hardy’s first promo as United States champion

“First and foremost, I’ve never been the United States champion before. This might complete the set as far as my career goes. But I don’t know if I can take anymore. I mean, how... it don’t get much better. I’m just coming back from rotator cuff surgery and my brother is so woken he’s kind of out of control. So it feels good to just be Jeff Hardy, The Charismatic Enigma, and unite with my fans like I’m best for.

”Again, I don’t know if I can take much more. I’m going to Saudi Arabia as the United States champion? Wow! This is nuts. But good for him, good for me, I’m up for the challenge. If I beat him once, I can beat him again. To beat him over there would be, wow, so bizarre, a dream come true.”

Jeff Hardy defeated Jinder Mahal for the United States championship to open this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, making him a Grand Slam champion in WWE. The two are already booked for a rematch at Greatest Royal Rumble on April 27 in Saudi Arabia. All of the above has blown Hardy’s mind.

And we still don’t even know if he’s moving to SmackDown Live or not!
