NXT Title matches, British Strong Style vs. Undisputed ERA highlight upcoming WWE UK Championship events

Still no word on if the events will be streamed live or taped and edited/produced for later broadcast (although this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter indicated the plan was to air the shows as they happen, despite that being on a Monday and Tuesday afternoon, North American time), but WWE released some information about the card for June 18 - 19’s United Kingdom Championship Tournament shows from London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Monday will feature a tournament to determine a #1 contender for Pete Dunne’s UK Title. WWE doesn’t name any competitors, or even the number (The Observer says it will be an eight-man King of the Ring tourney), but does confirm the winner will face The Bruiserweight on Tuesday. The June 19 card will also feature title defenses by the NXT North American, Women’s and Tag Team Champions. In addition to not knowing who the challengers will be in those matches, predicting who will carry each of the belts to London is tricky. TakeOver: Chicago is the Saturday beforehand.

In addition to the UK Championship Tournament bouts, June 18 will feature a six-man tag which has its roots in last Saturday’s TakeOver: New Orleans - Undisputed ERA’s Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong against Dunne and his British Strong Style mates in Moustache Mountain, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven. Roddy, you’ll recall, betrayed The Bruiserweight in the finals of The Dusty Classic to join Undisputed and help Cole and O’Reilly keep the NXT Tag Titles.

Sounds like an eventful couple of shows. Interested?
