If there was any doubt over what it meant when Akam and Rezar pulled away from Paul Ellering following their successful main roster debut on Monday Night Raw this week, allow them to erase it:
Ellering was their manager for the entirety of their run through NXT, from June 2016 up through NXT TakeOver: New Orleans. They did a lot of good things during that time, but the WWE main roster isn’t much for managers.
They’ll sink or swim on their own now.
