WWE is in the midst of telling the story that Brock Lesnar doesn’t care about the company, nor the fans, nor professional wrestling on the whole. It’s probably true, to some degree, but the manipulation is quite clearly an attempt at getting over his opponent at WrestleMania 34, Roman Reigns.
It’s been working!
Fans in Chicago were not happy when he beat Kane in a 35 second match at the last house show he worked. He was back at it tonight in Minnesota, working a match against Intercontinental Champion The Miz. Our man Pete Sweeney was live on the scene and, according to him, WWE did a bit of trolling with Lesnar’s entrance.
When his music hit, they waited a solid minute before he walked out for the match. Just long enough to make fans wonder.
Then again, this was after Miz cut a promo on the town, working heel. And this is Minnesota, after all, so Lesnar certainly wasn’t treated too poorly. He even gave them more than 35 seconds this time:

That’s a total of six German suplexes, three F-5’s, and just 1 minute and 19 seconds of work for the Universal champion.
Easy peasy.
