Rich Swann says he lost his dream job, will retire from pro wrestling

WWE Network

Rich Swann is done. Less than a month after mutually parting ways with the WWE, Swann says he plans to retire from pro wrestling.

The former WWE cruiserweight champion took to social media earlier today (Mar. 8) to first announce he wants to retire after his current set of indie show bookings are complete.

Then Swann went on to further explain maybe why he is walking away from the sport.

In Dec. 2017, Rich Swann was arrested on two charges; battery and kidnapping/false imprisonment. The charges were later dismissed.

Currently Swann has a booking for Mexico’s Crash Promotion on Mar. 17 and Tommy Dreamer’s House Of Hardcore show on April 7 during WrestleMania 34 weekend
