WWE SmackDown Live ratings (Mar. 6, 2018): Numbers dip without Cena

No John Cena? Problem.

On Mar. 6, SmackDown dropped more than 100K viewers from the week prior, down to 2,590,000. That’s still better than the show was doing a month ago and good for fourth biggest audience among cable originals on the night, behind Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, History’s Curse of Oak Island and Sean Hannity on Fox News, but...

Their demographic share did fall all the way back down to where it was in early February. Among 18 - 49 year olds, WWE only drew a .75, second behind the Houston Rockets’ 16th straight NBA win over Oklahoma City.

With an AJ Styles vs. Dolph Ziggler headliner promoted (which turned into a 5way match), the Fastlane ‘go home’ didn’t impress. Does the company have something up their sleeve for Sunday which will drive viewers to the fallout show? John Cena isn’t currently advertised for Mar. 13 in Indianapolis, but rumors say he and a certain Phenom could build to a WrestleMania showdown on the blue brand...
